The Edit Atelier is one of the first apparel manufacturers of its kind on the continent; situated in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa, a world class English-speaking city, renowned for its expert level of apparel manufacturing.

We are a skills driven company that strives to constantly improve our garment manufacturing processes, while closely adhering to our tradition of quality and excellent customer service. The Edit Atelier strives to empower our employee’s and the surrounding disadvantaged communities. The Edit Atelier’s ethos is steeped in skills development, with 100% of our employees coming from a previously disenfranchised background.
Our mission is to provide professional garment manufacturing to businesses at a competitive price. Through strategic partnerships and over collectively twenty nine years’ experience, The Edit Atelier continues to deliver high quality solutions to businesses of all sizes on a national or international level. We strive to deliver a full-service solution to our clients, covering all aspects of the production process: From the initial consultation, the design brief, pattern-making, sampling, production, and final delivery.
We work with many high end, luxury designers, both South African and international brands. We are unable to disclose all our clients, as we respect their privacy. Potential customers are encouraged to visit our studio, meet the team and see for themselves, the quality of our work.
We can manufacture all types of garments, including contemporary ready-to-wear fashion, designer wear, jackets, sportswear, outerwear, evening wear, activewear, corporate wear, sample packs, private labels and swimwear. We also manufacture bespoke pieces for special occasions. We have experience working with various fabrics including (but not limited to) woven's, jersey, silk, wool and cotton.
